Gruner Veltliner is the only accredited grape variety (DAC) from Austria's Weinviertel region. It is known for its unique and distinct flavours of green apple, pear, lemon, and lime, alongside herbal and floral hints. Also, it often exhibits spices like white pepper or even a touch of minerality. On the palate, Gruner Veltliner is typically refreshing and crisp with vibrant acidity. The flavour includes a mix of citrus fruits, stone fruits, and sometimes a bit of stone or mineral quality, giving it a layered depth. The texture or mouthfeel is often light to medium-bodied, and the finish is usually clean and bright, leaving a lingering freshness that invites another sip.

Tasting notes:
"Bright green yellow, subtle herbal notes, delicate notes of clementines, a hint of spices and yellow apple fruit, subtle notes of guava. Juicy, elegant, fresh and lively, well-integrated acid structure, salty, lingers well, notes of pome fruit also in the finish, already good to drink.” FALSTAFF WINE GUIDE Provenance: Producer: Weingut Seher Location: Platt, Appelation: Weinviertal DAC (Niederosterreich) Farming: Sustainable, Organic Bottle Info.
