Expert's View
“This new English project from the very first vintage, delivered cracking, text book, oak and textured, detailed, complex, autolyzed, uplifting, cool, Beaujolais; absolutely brilliant for drinking all the year, chilled in summer great with fish, great for tasting while your Burgundys are maturing or when you don't feel like some Bordeaux, or for when you want really, really top end wine but not heavy wine. The wines are made in the natural approach, high quality, consistent and of clean genre definitely not in the hippie school. Grand Cochard has a really reasonable price-point, top notch kit, hooray value. Get it on the table, drink it, buy some more, it's just what you want.” ~ Clear Wine Co's Wine Expert
