Vouvray Sec "Coteau De La Biche" 2015, Domaine Pichot, Loire
Tasting notes
This wine is warm, rounded and packed with fruit. Baked apple and spice are combined with almond and honey flavours. The wine is dry, very fresh while also concentrated and dense. It needs to age, so drink from 2018. (R.V. – Wine Enthusiast; 2014 vintage; tasted 1/11/15)

Expert's View
“Vouvray is a tapestry of subtly different terroir or vineyard types, close to or further away from the river, a bit more inclination, better drainage or not, heavier clay or soil, more limestone in the clay surface and also some rare silex vineyards and it’s these vineyards that tend to define what style of wine is made on a regular basis. The dry wine is absolutely wonderful with food and absolutely cracking value. The trick is if you like dry wines, make sure you get Vouvray Sec or any of the dry examples - what you drink with seafood, shellfish, salads, chicken dishes, Caesar salad, and is wonderful.” ~ Clear Wine Co's Wine Expert
