Bardolino Classico 2022, Raval, Veneto
Tasting notes
Brilliant, attractive red-ruby colour. Fragrant aromas of cherry, blackberry, redcurrants, earthy and floral. On the palate: Delightful, perfumed, fresh fruit with red cherries/black fruit character. Crunchy and crisp with a light, deft touch and balanced by lovely freshness and a fragrant, aromatic finish. Delicious and ripe with light mineral notes. Fresh and firm on the palate with a juicy red current fruity finish. (D.H., 2012 vintage)

Expert's View
“So you have a red wine that’s mid to light intensity, lovely classic strawberry, cherry nose, very much like Pinot Noir, and a really smooth, fine-grained, smooth palate and in essence it is Italy’s answer to a good Bourgogne or an entry-level New World Pinot Noir, lovely fruit, open texture, high drinkability - a very, very lovely, light, subtle, smooth red wine. The Raval Bardolino is absolutely the perfect thing - text-book Bardolino.” ~ Clear Wine Co's Wine Expert
