"Riverside" GSM 2019, Powell & Son, Barossa Valley
Tasting notes
Distinctive, floral details of plum blossom and bergamot lead the way, featuring a fleshy core of cherry and raspberry flavours that are juicy and ripe, with a whiff of gunpowder tea on the finish, where the tannins provide some grip. Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro. Drink now through 2028. (M.W. - Wine Spectator; 2016 vintage; July 2017)

Expert's View
“Lovely young vine blend GSM grown in the Barossa. Dave Powell is not a big fan of the hot and sandy zone of the Barossa, he likes thinner soils with a bit more rocky characteristics present in the wine and not the really hot southern section. Nice quantities of decent everyday wine for all those who love the dramatic, flamboyant Barossa style." ~ Clear Wine Co's Wine Expert
