Barbera d'Alba 2014, Andrea e Beatrice Runchet, Piemonte
Tasting notes
The colour is purpled-red, limpid-and clear, and the bouquet intense, fruity and aromatic. On the palate the wine has slightly warming alcohol, is soft, well-balanced with a taste of ripe fruits. Recommended pairing with aged cheeses, salami, red meat starters and main courses. (Producer’s notes)

Expert's View
“The Runchet Barbera is a lovely dark damson, plum inflected wine, really juicy. Barbera has often higher acidity than tannins, enough scale of alcohol and body and a juiciness rather than a tannic bitterness. It’s particularly good with rich winter dishes. And the whole range has quite striking and dashing packaging.” ~ Clear Wine Co's Wine Expert
