The Raval Bardolino Classico and Bardolino Chiaretto wines hail from a domain of ten hectares founded in 1985 managed by the Raval family. The vineyard is situated just outside the Bardolino village nestled up against the shore of the south-eastern corner of Lake Garda. Around Bardolino we’re on the stony, sandy and glacial soils of Lake Garda, no volcanic rock in sight so wines are lighter in style to neighbouring Valpolicella. Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes go into the blend.
Grapes are selected, pressed, and fermented in temperature controlled tanks and aged in barrels for a few months before bottling.
