Expert's View
“Rather than going for the traditional notion of Reserva and Gran Reserva, they make a wine called Rioja Seleccion Especial, aged in really nice casks and then given ten plus years in the cellar before releasing. So, whether you want a special Rioja for birthdays, high-days and holidays, Christmas sort of occasions, then they cover that range. If you don’t like the idea of long ageing in barrel, go for the Seleccion Especial.” ~ Clear Wine Co's Wine Expert
