Barbera D'Alba "Sori Del Drago" 2014, Brovia, Piemonte
Tasting notes
Pretty notes of purple and black fruit (black cherries, plum), also notes of some white pepper. It's medium bodied, with high present acidity and lower-medium tannin. Medium length. A fresh, precise and sappy Barbera with an almost saline acidity. This will work nicely with food. (N.B. – Cellar Tracker; 2014 vintage; tasted 9/09/2016)

Expert's View
“With Brovia you have a more traditionalist end to Barolo. They are mid plus weight rather than really dark, and really strong examples of their terroir and their condominium of the Barolo blend.” ~ Clear Wine Co's Wine Expert
